Testing Schedules

Grades 6-8 Standardized testing for all middle school students happens the week of October 12th. They will take the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. Students need to have two #2 pencils and an eraser. No calculators will be used. PSAT Test—All 9th, 10th, & 11th Graders on October 14, 2009 This testing will help students practice for SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). The results provide information for students about their developed abilities. The PSAT (Preliminary SAT is the first step to entering scholarship competitions conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Students will be given a practice test and an informational bulletin during school. These tests are funded by L.A. Lutheran and are given during the regular school day and no registration is required. SAT SAT I and SAT II—A test of verbal and mathematical abilities. Visit ACT’s Website at www.act.org Advanced Placement Exams (AP Tests) Students may take any of the twenty-six AP Exams offered. L.A. Lutheran course offerings for the 2009-10 school year is AP Biology. Students need to notify the office of their choices, pay the fee for each exam, and take the test during the scheduled time frame.
