Academics are critical to the
success of students since 90% of them go on to college or university. Students in science explore nature through various assignments including
dissections, computer assisted labs with automatic probes, soil analysis, mobiles, and
more.
Students enjoy the camaraderie of
their classmates at El Camino Pines Lutheran Camp. They work together to solve
problems and communicate positively and effectively through group activities.
The foothills of the San Fernando
Valley provide a wonderful backdrop for the campus. The once-in-a- lifetime snow
on the lower mountains adds to the peaceful setting. Students enroll from as far
away as Palmdale, La Crescenta, Granada Hills, and Burbank.
A fine arts program featuring the
award winning Jazzmen Band and Melody Maker choir touch the soul in ways other
disciplines cannot. Four bands and three choirs are joined by outstanding art
classes to mould the spirit.
Athletics develop teamwork and
leadership. They require goal setting and achievement. They foster enthusiasm
and support among the student body. 85% of the student body is involved in the
program.
